GSU chemists develop compounds that fight AML and ALS diseases

GSU Chemistry faculties Dr.Wilson & Dr.Boykin, in collaboration with Dr.Poon have synthesized compounds that help suppress the progression of AML(Acute Myeloid Leukemia) via DNA transcription inhibition and ALS(Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis – also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease) via RNA suppression.
