CHEMISTRY SEMINAR SERIES
The Department of Chemistry at Georgia State University hosts a weekly seminar series, which presents speakers from academia, industrial corporations and laboratories. The departmental seminars provide a forum where renowned and emerging chemists are invited to present their cutting-edge research and discoveries to Georgia State University students and faculty. Unless otherwise noted, seminars are usually held each Friday at 3:30 PM in 101 Petit Science Center. Refreshments are served at 3:15 p.m. prior to the seminar.
Undergraduate students interested in getting course credit for the Chemistry seminar can register for the 1-credit course CHEM 4940. Please contact the Undergraduate Directors for departmental override. We encourage all students to attend the Chemistry Department seminars even if not enrolled in the course.
