Responsibilities:
NMR Research FacilitiesManager:  Supervision, management, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrading and scheduling of the four high-field NMR spectrometers in the Chemistry department; training and assisting NMR spectrometer users in the spectrometer operation and data processing; designing and implementing new NMR experiments; troubleshooting spectrometer hardware problems, coordinating and scheduling service visits; performing NMR software upgrades; doing cryogen transfers to the spectrometer magnets.

instruction:
Teaching undergraduate labs and a graduate level course in pulse FT-NMR; assisting with undergraduate Organic Chemistry labs by collecting and providing NMR data on samples submitted by students.

Research:
Consulting and collaborating with faculty on NMR research projects; contributing to research manuscripts and proposals; conducting independent research in the application of high-resolution NMR.
