The Center for Workshops in the Chemical Sciences is a National Science Foundation Division of Undergraduate Education Course, Curriculum, and Laboratory Improvement sponsored initiative.  The CWCS provides workshops for faculty at eligible US institutions including 2- and 4-year colleges and universities.  Individuals, including post-docs and graduate students who plan to embark on a college teaching career, and conservators, forensic, biomedical and public health scientists with significant educational responsibilities, are also eligible.  The workshops are designed to provide a background and modern perspective on key areas of the chemical sciences (broadly defined) along with methods to introduce these topics into the undergraduate curriculum.    Approximately twelve workshops will be held at the consortium institutions each of the next three years.  Participation (including registration and housing) is FREE.  Please use the buttons on the left to learn more about the program and submit an application.
