About Georgia State Chemistry Club
Welcome to the Chemistry Club at Georgia State University web site! The purpose of the Chemistry Club is to afford an opportunity for students to become better acquainted, to secure the intellectual stimulation that arises from professional association, to obtain experience in preparing and presenting technical material before audiences, to provide students with career guidance in chemical and science-related fields, to foster a professional spirit among the members, to instill a professional pride in the chemical sciences, and to foster an awareness of the responsibilities and challenges of the modern chemist.
The aim of this organization is to advance the interest of students in chemistry. The organization wants to give students who are studying chemistry, academic and social support. We are a group of students whose goal is to share knowledge and experiences with our colleagues in an attempt to better ourselves as a whole group. In order to aid this, we will have presentations done by speakers who will try their best to help students with a better understanding of chemistry and provide them with information on the different fields that are out there in the study of chemistry. We hope to provide an intimate environment to aid the study of chemistry and to allow new members to meet fellow students with the same interest.
