| 01/01/06 | Georgia Section 2006 Election Results: Holly Davis of Coca-Cola was elected as Chair-Elect for the 2006 calendar year. Jennifer Powers of Kennesaw State University was elected as Treasurer for a 2006-2007 term. Lissa Dulany of MADesign, Inc. and Rigoberto Hernandez of Georgia Tech will serve as Councilors for the 2006-2008 terms. (In an unusual election result, Angus Wilkinson of Georgia Tech tied Rigoberto Hernandez in the election. Dr. Wilkinson has graciously conceded the election to Dr. Hernandez, and will serve as Alternate Councilor.) Also serving as Alternate Councilor for 2006-2008 will be David Lynn of Emory University. Austin Lin of Duracell was elected as Member-at-Large of the Executive Committee for a 2006-2007 term. The revisions of the By-Laws were approved. |
